I have my Haswing Cayman 55 GPS mounted on the stern of my boat. Going backward (pulling the boat), navigating a route works fine. I would like to have it push the boat however, rather than pull it. That means the motor would have to steer in the direction opposite to what it is programmed to do when it is pulling. That is understandable since it is inteneded to be a bow mount trolling motor. However, is there a way I can operate it to navigate along the route pushing the boat?
I also have a 10 hp kicker mounted at the stern to push the boat and have set it to go straight. I can steer the boat remotely using the Cayman. Would like to set the Cayman to navigate the route pushing the boat with the kicker doing most of the work set straight.
Please let me know your suggestions.
